An essential oil is a liquid extract of an aromatic plant obtained by distillation by entrainment of aromatic plants (flower, leaf, wood, root, bark, fruit). Some essential oils are obtained by bubbling, which is a process in which plants are placed in a container that will be heated. In this process, the solvent is water.
